She understands firsthand how challenging it can be to balance career, family, aging parents, and a changing body.

Elizabeth founded her concierge telemedicine practice after entering perimenopause and recognizing a significant gap in evidence-based menopause care among traditional primary care and OB/GYN settings. She is dedicated to filling that gap by providing comprehensive, individualized peri- and menopause hormone care.

With 20 years of experience in the medical field — including backgrounds in family medicine and emergency medicine — Elizabeth brings both depth and breadth to her clinical work. She has also pursued advanced menopause education and earned certification as a Menopause Society Certified Provider (MSCP), solidifying her expertise in the nuanced and evolving science of menopause management.

Elizabeth utilizes evidence-based medicine, prescribing FDA-approved plant-derived bio-identical hormone treatments (BHRT) that insurance covers, as well as compounded medication. Elizabeth engages in shared-decision making with her patients to achieve a truly personalized plan of care.

How does it work?

  1. Start by scheduling a consultation. Payment of $199 is due at time of scheduling. You will create a patient portal account and fill out intake forms. At your first visit we will review your medical history, discuss your symptoms and concerns, set goals for treatment, and you will leave with a personalized plan of care.

  2. After your consultation, if you become a patient of Desert Rain, you will join a monthly subscription membership (quarterly and annual discounts available) that includes:

    >Follow up visits as needed

    >Medication management

    >Prescription refills

    >Lab interpretation

    >Education

    >Messaging with provider

  3. Prescriptions can be sent to the retail pharmacy of your choice or mailed from a specialty pharmacy directly to you.

  4. Follow up visits are included in membership and are typically at 4-6 week intervals until treatment goals are met.

  5. Depending on your history and goals you may need to have labs drawn prior to your follow up visit.
